The Susan Hybrid Pants are designed for green pioneers; alpinists and ski tourers who want high performing weather protection in the mountains and who want to sustain and conserve the environment around them at the same time. These touring trousers are designed to meet these demands. By using an innovative and eco-friendly 3-layer material at the front and seat, these pants are naturally waterproof, windproof and extremely breathable. The robust, stretchy shell material consists up to 95% of post-consumer recycled polyamide. The PTFE-free Capex Green membrane is based on recycled polyurethane with S-Cafe, which is manufactured from used coffee grounds. Additionally the lining is made from 100% recycled polyester. The backside of the legs and waistband effectively contribute to the performance of the pants, being made from very stretchy and exceptionally breathable Windproof 80 softshell material. Side ventilation zips help to further regulate your microclimate comfort. The athletic cut is designed for best walking comfort on a mountain ascent on skis. The closer-cut leg is also better suited for use with crampons. Reinforced instep with stretchy Cardura inserts helps protect legs from sharp ski edges. Front pockets on both sides let you take along a LVS device, a map or an energy bar, and can even be accessed when wearing a harness.
