- HIGH ACCURACY: This sensor is essential when the battery temperature differs by more than 5°C (9°F) from the controller, ensuring accurate temperature compensation for improved battery charging. Provides precise temperature readings maintaining reliable performance across a wide temperature range.
- DURABLE & PROTECTION: For defense against harsh environments, the sensor is securely encapsulated in epoxy within a robust power lug housing. This durable construction protects against lightning surges and short circuits for long-lasting performance and reliability in the most challenging conditions.
- CONTROLLER COMPATIBILITY: The RTS is compatible with various Morningstar models including SunSaver MPPT, TriStar MPPT, SunKeeper, SunSaver Duo, and ProStar. The TriStar has no on-board temperature compensation thus requiring the use of the RTS. Other Morningstar controllers will default to an on-board temperature sensor if a RTS is not connected.
